Jennifer Rozenhart, D.C. Dear Colleague, I have had the pleasure of working together with Madeleine for the past two years. We worked together in a high volume chiropractic office where Madeleine had the position of Billing Manager. I was the Associate Chiropractor on staff. When Madeleine joined our team, I had been with the practice for five years. During the time that Madeleine was with the practice it steadily grew in collections. When she started in June of 2002 the practice averaged $40K per month. In 2003 the average monthly collections was $67K per month - a staggering 37% increase - and it continue to increase in 2004 to an average of $73K – another 10% growth. Madeleine brought with her invaluable business and chiropractic experience. Her tenacious insurance follow-up continued to be what set her apart from previous billers in the practice. Madeleine took on the insurance industry’s game and quickly accumulated knowledge to help us win. A few months after Madeleine joined our team she was sent to a seminar to learn about the California Workers Compensation system. Madeleine quickly became a master at the laws and regulations surrounding the worker’s compensation system offering a level of customer service and advice to our patients that brought the practice a step above the rest. She was an integral part of implementing the necessary steps to bring the practice success within the workers’ compensation arena. Madeleine was responsible for negotiating all our workers compensation liens with attorneys and judges during settlement hearings. During the time Madeleine was with the practice she single-handedly created and very successfully implemented a step-by-step collection and follow-up system for each case management category. Her legal and insurance knowledge is a step above the rest. Madeleine also did financial consults with all of our new patients. We had written financial agreements that Madeleine discussed in detail with the patients and collected payments. She was professional and efficient in handling any questions and/or financial concerns from the patients. It is bittersweet to see her go – She was such an asset for our practice and we will miss her; and we are all very happy to see her pursue her dreams. I have no doubt that her dedication and knowledge will bring her great success.
